Senior Lecturer of Music
Two-time Grammy Award winner Sylvia McNair is a frequent guest
performer with major opera houses and symphony orchestras throughout
Europe and the U.S. Her audiences have included the late Pope John Paul
II, Hillary Clinton, and the U.S. Supreme Court. McNair was named the Jacobs School of Music's
executive advisor for outreach in 2001.
"I hope my students gain confidence on stage and comfort in their own
bodies," she says. "Living well in your own skin is half the challenge of
being successful on stage."

Podcasting at IU
Faculty and staff can use Oncourse CL to make their podcasts
available to the public through iTunes U. Indiana University
will go public with iTunes U on December 19, making its content
searchable by people worldwide in iTunes.
To make your podcasts available through iTunes U, add the iTunes U tool to your
Oncourse CL course or project site.
Faculty and staff can also use the IU Podcasts portal website to
make podcasts available to the public. To publish your podcasts through
the portal, send an e-mail request to podcast@iu.edu.
